NEWBORN STORY SESSION CONTRACT & POLICIES
This Newborn Story Session Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between Phrozen Photography
(“Photographer”) and the undersigned client (“Client”) for newborn photography services.
Booking & Availability
Sessions are available by appointment only.
To guarantee availability, early booking is recommended—especially for seasonal sessions, newborn sessions, and weddings.
1. RETAINER & PAYMENT TERMS
1.1 A 30% non-refundable retainer ($67.50) is due at booking.
1.2 No session date is reserved until the retainer is received.
1.3 The remaining balance ($157.50) is due the day before or the day of the session.
1.4 All payments are non-refundable except under the Emergency Clause.
2. SESSION DETAILS
2.1 Session length is 1.5–2 hours.
2.2 Session takes place in the Client’s home using natural light.
2.3 Parents and siblings may participate.
2.4 Baby-led posing is used; breaks for feeding, soothing, and changing are expected.
3. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
3.1 Ensure the home environment is safe and clean for the baby.
3.2 Communicate any medical or safety concerns prior to the session.
3.3 Notify Photographer of illness; sick infants will require rescheduling.
4. SAFETY POLICIES
4.1 Baby’s safety is the highest priority.
4.2 Photographer will not pose baby in unsafe, forced, or unnatural positions.
4.3 Photographer may decline any request that compromises safety.
5. PHOTOGRAPHIC STYLE & LIMITATIONS
5.1 Client acknowledges familiarity with the Photographer’s natural, lifestyle style.
5.2 Photographer retains full artistic discretion regarding lighting, posing, and editing.
5.3 RAW/unedited images are not provided.
6. RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATION
6.1 One reschedule is allowed without penalty for illness or reasonable cause.
6.2 Additional reschedules require a new retainer.
6.3 Retainers are non-refundable.
6.4 Canceling within 24 hours of the session forfeits all payments.
7. IMAGE DELIVERY
7.1 Client will receive 20–30 edited images.
7.2 Delivery timeframe is 1–2 weeks via private, password-protected gallery.
8. PRIVACY & MODEL RELEASE
8.1 Images will not be shared publicly without written permission.
8.2 A separate model release form will be provided.
9. LIABILITY
9.1 Photographer is not responsible for:
• Accidents or injuries during the session
• Uncooperative children or adults
• Messes or disruptions within the home
9.2 Photographer is not liable for delays caused by illness, unsafe conditions, or emergencies.
10. EMERGENCY CLAUSE
10.1 In case of Photographer illness, injury, or unavoidable emergency:
• Client may choose a full refund, OR
11. AGREEMENT ACCEPTANCE
By booking the Newborn Story Session and paying the retainer, the Client acknowledges they have
read and agreed to all terms.
